Katherine was absolutely clutch in the delivery of our son. I was not dealt the easiest of circumstances (severe preeclampsia- on both magnesium and Pitocin) and while things did not go the way I had envisioned, Katherine was able to help me pivot to the new plan. She was a reassuring presence in the room for both my husband and I, giving my nurses and I suggestions for comfort and to keep him moving down while I was stuck in bed because of the mag. My husband, who was originally skeptical on whether hiring a doula would be worth it, is now the biggest advocate telling all his friends to just do it. Katherine is definitely worth it and we would love to have her again at our next delivery!
