I hired Leah for my third birth. She was so incredibly helpful during our prenatal appointments leading to the birth. Being a mom of two and a full busy schedule I didn’t have a lot of time to mentally prepare for this birth. Having the appointments with Leah beforehand was super helpful to create space for that. She had great tips for stretches and brought up questions that my husband and I probably wouldn’t have prepared for. During the birth Leah came in and made my birth experience feel almost spa-like. She immediately brought a sense of calm into the space with her and got set up. She had fake candles, a fan, essential oils and calming music. Not to mention her own calming voice! She kept me grounded, helped me breathe through contractions and was my cheerleader and advocate through it all — even after the birth when I needed some stitches she helped me with breathing. She was so amazing with my two young daughters who sat next to her during pushing. She was truly invaluable and she played an important role in the birth of our son. I can’t recommend Leah enough to be your doula. You will not regret it!
