Eli is a fantastic doula, and I would recommend her to anyone! She responded quickly after I first reached out, and once we decided to work together, she set up in-person sessions where she shared a wealth of comprehensive, thoughtful information and resources about pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and everything in between.
My pregnancy was low-risk until week 39, when I was unexpectedly diagnosed with preeclampsia and needed to be induced. Labor lasted nearly three days and ultimately ended in a C-section. Throughout the entire process, Eli was right there providing steady support and guidance. My husband and I were especially impressed by how well she adapted to rapidly changing circumstances—like when I fainted—to help keep things moving as closely as possible to my birth plan.
During the C-section, Eli also captured some incredibly sweet photos of our new little family that I’ll always treasure. Later, during postpartum recovery at the hospital, I even got to try the delicious broth that other reviewers mention—and yes, it really is that good!
Once we were home, Eli visited to help around the house and answer all my newborn and breastfeeding questions. I truly appreciated that she respected all my preferences, including my decision to have a hospital birth. As a type-A girlie, I found Eli’s calm, grounded energy to be the perfect complement to my own—she helped me stay centered during some very stressful moments.
