From the very beginning, you didn’t just walk beside us you held us. You met every fear with calm, every question with patience, and every vulnerable moment with grace. You reminded me that I was strong, capable, and never alone. I could do hard things. Even when the path didn’t go how we imagined when our story ended in an unexpected C-section you somehow still made it feel like my birth story. You made sure I felt heard, empowered, and at peace. But this letter isn’t just from me. It’s from my husband too. Because you didn’t just support me you supported us. You saw us as a team. You gave him the space to show up for me fully, without fear or hesitation, because you were always one step ahead, thinking of what we might need before we even knew we needed it. You helped him carry the weight of it all. And that’s a gift I’ll never be able to repay. You brought a calm into our world that we didn’t even know we needed. You made the medical feel personal. You made the unknown feel safe. And you turned what could’ve been a scary experience into one filled with intention, love, and trust. Thank you for the way you held my hand and my heart through the entire process. Thank you for reminding me when everything felt out of my control that I was still the one bringing our baby into the world. Because of you, I look back on this journey with peace. Because of you, I found strength I didn’t know I had. You are more than a doula. You are a healer, a guide, and a true part of our family now.
