I'm the type of mom who wouldn't even let nurses take my kids out of sight, so I was a bit hesitant at first about the idea of leaving my newborn baby with a stranger while I'm asleep. Because of my own anxieties, I wasn't able to sleep much in the first few nights, so Teka and I spent a lot of time together chatting, and I got to know her better. She's very warm, open, and candid, which allowed us to build trust quickly.
It became immediately obvious how much she loves her work and how genuine is her affection for the babies in her care. A couple of weeks in, I was already comfortable enough to leave our baby with her all night and pump instead of getting up to nurse. She felt like part of the family and took the best care of our baby, providing much rest and relief for my husband and me.
She is a rare type of person who takes on each day with earnest dedication, looking for ways to help support the family as a whole, and constantly working on self improvement and professional development.
