My wife and I have had two great experiences with Stephani as our birth doula. She was a huge help for the birth of our first child when we were very nervous and felt like we didn't know anything at all. Then just as useful to us during the birth of our second child when we forgot everything we learned the first go around. With her service she provides guidance and support before and during labor. She is very experienced, highly knowledgeable and offered a calming element for both of us anxious parents to be. Our experience was kind of like hiring a mom without the added stress and emotional baggage that a mom would bring into the delivery room. She explained what was going on when the nurses didn't have the time and advocated well for our wishes during labor. Is very fluid for whatever birth plan you want to have. Our first labor experience did not go as planned at all but having Stephani's comforting presence there made the change of plan easier to accept in the moment. Whether you are using a midwife, hospital, going natural or using epidural, etc. We highly recommend Stephanie. She is great support for both partners during the whole pregnancy and birthing process.
