Our experience working with Elaine was fantastic! She is incredibly warm, knowledgeable, inspiring, and deeply cares about the well-being of all parties involved (i.e. mom, dad, and baby). My husband and I both greatly benefited from her education on the labor process, and she helped guide and support me through the physical, mental, and emotional preparation for labor and delivery as well. She provided emotional and physical strategies on how my husband could best support me, and when the time came, her calming presence assisted my husband in effectively supporting me through laboring at home before heading to the hospital. While at the hospital, she continued to facilitate a calming environment and worked seamlessly to help me manage the final stages of labor - making sure I was staying hydrated, providing physical pain management techniques, offering words of strength and encouragement, etc. Her postpartum visit was also very helpful, and I continue to feel supported by her as she has checked in multiple times to see how we are doing. I would not hesitate to use Elaine again, she truly made such as difference in our experience and we are extremely grateful!
