Hiring Amanda was the best investment my husband made for our newborn son AND for ourselves. Amanda provides excellent overnight care, but she also does SO more than that. As first-time parents, there were so many things about newborn life and development that my husband and I didn’t know. The knowledge and support that Amanda provided was crucial to us feeling secure and confident in our newfound parenting skills. This really came to light when our son, who is formula fed, developed a milk-protein allergy (to the point where he had blood in his stool) and needed to switch formulas right away. Amanda identified the problem, encouraged me to communicate with my pediatrician, and helped transition our son to a new formula. Amanda has also been there for me, a first-time mom, as a crucial support person.
