I have worked with Elaine for two pregnancies now and I can honestly say I couldn't have had such a memorable and empowering experience if I didn't have her help. She has been everything I believe a doula would aspire to be. I felt very supported and educated on the labor process and my husband would say the same. It was invaluable to have him be able to support me through labor and delivery in the way that she helped him to. Both of my pregnancies ended up having to be c-sections but to have her there during the first go around with labor and then again trying for a VBAC, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to help in the way she did. She helped me navigate tough emotions and realities with grace and confidence as well as encouraged and reminded me that my experience was still valuable and the work I did was still worthy of recognition and validation. She supported me and believed in me when it was hard to do that for myself. I can't say enough about Elaine and would go to her again and again.
