Jean was the doula for our first birth, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her by our side. From the very beginning of working together during our pregnancy, her communication was very strong, she was responsive, helpful, supportive, and always made us feel cared for. We met in person twice before the birth, and it was immediately clear from her calm, grounding presence that she was the right fit for us.
While I was 10 days past my due date, Jean helped me stay calm and centered. She checked in regularly and offered thoughtful suggestions to naturally encourage labor. The moment I went into labor—at 5am—I called Jean, and she was ready to go.
Throughout the delivery, Jean was a steady and supportive presence. She helped me with positioning to encourage the baby to move into place, offered reassurance, and was an incredible support to both me and my husband. She stayed with us the entire time, advocating for me and helping me understand what was happening in the moment.
Since the birth, Jean has already visited us twice, with more visits planned. She continues to check in often, and I truly appreciate how connected and cared for she has helped us feel during this transition. Jean’s energy, wisdom, sincerity, and calm were exactly what I needed. She supported not just me, but our whole family. Thank you, Jean, for everything!
