From our very first meeting, Ines immediately stood out—she shared both her personal and professional experiences, which helped us feel connected to her and confident in our decision to choose her. Throughout the pregnancy, Ines was a calm and knowledgeable presence. When we faced the challenge of a breech baby, she guided us through specific movements to encourage baby to turn. She referred us to see a chiropractor and a massage therapist to help with turning the baby. She also ensured that my partner felt prepared for labor, introducing him to pain management techniques. As our due date approached, Ines kept in regular contact, checking in weekly and being available for any questions or concerns that came up. We often went to her for a second opinion or simply to get a gut check—her experience and calm demeanor were invaluable. It also gave us great peace of mind that she was familiar with Englewood Hospital. Ines stayed in close contact with my husband and even coached him through a few helpful techniques when he reached out to say I was transitioning. When she arrived, she offered a wide range of discomfort management options—not just for me, but also suggestions that my partner could try, which helped us feel more connected and empowered during labor. She also jumped in to help with breastfeeding support the moment our baby began showing hunger cues, which was incredibly helpful during those early bonding moments. At her postpartum in person visit, Ines provided additional support with breastfeeding. Ines is truly the best in her class. Her knowledge, presence, responsiveness, and warmth made our birth experience so much more positive, and we are deeply grateful for her role in our journey. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a supportive, experienced, and caring doula.
