When we had our "surprise" baby #4 I wanted to do things differently than id ever considered doing them with my others. I loved my ob so knew switching to a midwife wasn't going to be a good fit. I started researching Doulas. Nobody was jumping out and I was so uncertain. I spoke to my neice and was referred to Katie. Upon first meeting Katie I knew it was a good fit for us. Our labor ended up not being easy or smooth thanks to my kidney stones. But she was there. She prayed with us when the decisions were too much and too tense. She encouraged and praised me in the labor process when I was thinking I cant do it anymore. And she was there beaming when baby was born and I looked at her and said... "I did it!" Any woman can experience a beautiful birth experience the way God intended for woman to be able to birth. If we were having anymore I wouldn't do it again without the support of Katie! I'm going to tell other new and first time moms about Katie and encourage them to get support from a doula. It was worth it 100%.
