We had such a wonderful experience with Mayra!
I was referred to Mayra from another doula and I'm so grateful we found her. We had Mayra for 6 nights (spread across 3 weeks) and she was a lifesaver as we juggled life with a newborn, very little sleep, and our toddler adjusting. In terms of communication, Mayra is amazing. She stayed in constant communication around how the nights went with our newborn (detailed log of wake ups, feedings, diaper changes, burps etc) and was so great checking on me. She was able to recommend not only a few things for myself (ointment for myself dealing with engorged breasts) but also different bottle nipples we could use with my daughter to help with her gas and reflux. All which worked wonders!
Mayra is extremely kind, calm, and warm. Everything you'd want in a doula and someone to trust with your new baby. I would love to continue using Mayra and would 100% recommend her!
