If you're considering hiring Jasmine as your doula, do it! My entire experience with her was amazing from beginning to end. Prior to my due date we met for a coffee to chat and get to know each other a little bit, then in the weeks leading up to it she continually checked in on me, offering great advice for any symptoms or complaints I had. She even offered to come massage my feet for me when I was swollen and to come watch my toddler so I could get some rest. My labor ended up being extremely quick, so by the time I asked her to come to my house, she missed the delivery by just one minute (which was actually perfect since I ended up not wanting any physical support during labor). She sent me encouraging texts before she headed over, sensing that my labor was progressing more quickly than I assumed. Once she got here, she took pictures without anyone even asking her to, which I'm so grateful to have! She stayed for several hours post birth and helped with so much... unloaded our dishwasher, played with my toddler, brought me food and drinks, helped clean up, and just provided overall support and helped me process my labor and delivery. The next day she came over again to help take care of me and my toddler, and also surprised me with goodies from her farm stand. She was incredibly sweet and continued to check in on us via text in the first couple of weeks following my delivery. Once again, she offered great advice for a few issues that my baby had. It's also worth mentioning that my shy toddler loved Jasmine from the very beginning and kept asking to play with her, which was a great sign for me. I don't plan on having any more babies, but if I do, I will definitely be hiring Jasmine again. She has a wonderful presence and I appreciated her communication skills, herbal knowledge, and complete willingness to support me in any way that I needed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!
