My baby was born in two easy pushes less than an hour after Aubrey and I arrived at the birth center, so we didn’t get to utilize all her skills in labor. Yet I am so so thankful she was there, because I believe all the conversations we had leading up to birth is what made it go so smoothly. I had had 3 miscarriages and a traumatic hospital induction before this baby and I was in a mindset of always looking for the worst case scenario. Aubrey validated my feelings about the negative hospital experience when others tried to convince me it wasn’t that bad. And every time I came to her during pregnancy expecting things to go wrong she would gently remind me to consider that everything could also go right. That positive mindset was crucial for me, and when the time came, pretty much everything did go right. I would recommend her to anyone!
