Kiesha was my doula for my first pregnancy. From the start, Kiesha was very easy to talk to and it was easy to see she . She helped my learn about all of my options to formulate my birth plan. She provided me with so many resouces from breastfeeding to pain management to newborn sleep. While in labor, Kiesha was an advocate for me, ensure the nurses were aware of my preferences. Kiesha overall has a calming presence which helped maintain a calm environment in the hospital room, providing bedside fans and candles. She was hands on whenever I needed her, ie providing counter pressure on my back or helping to reposition me after the epidual was in and it was more difficult to move. She also took AMAZING picutres during labor that I love looking back on. During postpartum, she checked up on me and let me know signs for postpartm depression or anxiety. She helped me catch up on sleep and did housework without even me asking. She truly is there for you for whatever you need and genuinely wants to help.
