Working with Amber was an absolute joy and an experience I will forever hold close to my heart. It was a match made in heaven for us from the very beginning. She was incredibly supportive, offered so much information and her skills played a key role in my labor. For being a first time mom and choosing to do a homebirth, I knew my husband and I would need the extra support for both of us. Amber did a wonderful job instilling confidence in my husband and I by giving us ample amounts of information and hands on practice in preparation for the labor and birth of our son. She provided a calm and grounding energy in our birth space and supported each request and need we had. She even went above and beyond by ensuring we had our first meal after baby was born, continued to check in on us, cheering us on as new parents, and stopped in to drop off a meal for us to enjoy along with some goodies for us to remember our experience by. I encourage anyone looking for a doula to meet with Amber and just by talking with her, you'll understand why she is in her calling. For my husband, having the extra support and guidance was fantastic. She really helped set him up for being amazing support for me and made it to where my husband could be super helpful in our experience which we understand isn't always to case for most dads.
