I LOVED working with Aja. At first, I wasn't sure if having a doula made a difference but I wanted to give it a shot. I interviewed 4-5 doulas and my heart was set on Aja right from the get go. When I told her I had a tough time with breastfeeding my first child and was worried that it would be the same for my second, she immediately told me that we will start working on turning that around and making it positive this time and she did. I am two weeks postpartum and having her in my corner made such a difference.
Even my birthing prep and the labor experience were made so much better with Aja's experience and guidance. She helped me understand pain management and manage it so easily. She also held a breath session for me as a part of my labor prep and that was enriching and brought out some past experiences I was holding onto.
