Hiring Elle as my doula was hands down the best decision I made during my pregnancy. Coming from a science background, I was looking for someone who could support me with an evidence-based approach while also honoring the emotional and physical journey of birth—and Elle was exactly that.
I had hoped for an all-natural birth without an epidural, and Elle worked closely with me to prepare for that goal. She was a calm and steady guide as I waited for labor to start on its own, and when my water broke unexpectedly before contractions began, she helped my husband and me navigate the stress and uncertainty of the moment. We were overwhelmed, but Elle’s support made all the difference.
She met us at the hospital and advocated for me every step of the way—especially during moments when I didn’t feel fully heard by the hospital team. Although I ultimately chose to get an epidural and initially felt disappointed, Elle supported me with so much compassion and helped me process my birth experience in a way that brought healing and understanding.
Her support didn’t end there—Elle continued to be an incredible resource postpartum, especially as I faced challenges with breastfeeding my daughter.
What makes Elle truly special is her ability to make you feel completely at ease in her presence, while also radiating the quiet strength and confidence you need during labor. She was born to be a doula. I would choose her a thousand times over for every future birth.
