We've wonderful experiences with both Shontee and Sage!
Shontee attended both of our daughters' births. While both in the hospital, they were very different to say the least! One was a peak COVID era lonnnng early labor where I used an epidural, and the second a hospital waterbirth followed by postpartum hemorrhage and need to visit the OR for some cleanup. Shontee helped us find our rhythm and stay centered in the medical setting which I appreciate, and I felt comforted knowing she was with my husband and daughter postpartum while I had to spend most of the golden hour in the operating room!
In postpartum we have also been working with Sage who was been very thoughtful and attentive!
Thanks again to Doula Love for making this all possible, and also supporting the community through doulas that bill both OHP/Medicaid and state employee health insurance (a benefit I was able to use the second time around)
