Finding a doula who speaks Spanish was much harder than I expected, so when I found Miriam, it felt like such a blessing. From the very beginning, she made me and my family feel supported, understood, and safe—something especially meaningful since Spanish is my first language and my mom doesn’t speak English.
Miriam not only guided me through every stage of pregnancy and birth with so much knowledge and calm presence, but she also took the time to translate and explain everything to my mom. That allowed my mom to be truly present and involved in the experience, which meant the world to both of us.
During labor, Miriam was my anchor. She knew exactly when to step in with comforting words, massage, or breathing cues. She helped me feel grounded and strong when things felt overwhelming. She was also an incredible advocate, gently communicating with the medical team, my partner and my mom, and making sure my voice and preferences were always respected.
After birth, her support didn’t stop. Her visit and messages gave me reassurance and guidance when I needed it most.
