I cannot imagine having a birth without Angela by my side. Right after delivering my daughter, my husband told Angela that we wouldn't have been able to do it without her. She was my guide through labor and delivery. I was able to text her with all of my questions throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I even still communicate with her to this day, 10 months postpartum. Doula's are said to take the place that ancient mothers would take during delivery, she defiantly filled that role for me and so much more than that. From the first time I spoke to her on the phone, I knew that she was the person that I wanted to have with me during delivery. She is compassionate, intuitive, and I feel like she knew what I was going through and what I needed before I could even understand what I needed myself. I had a home birth and she brought so much peace during that time. With her and our midwives, I feel like we had the dream team. I had the most amazing birth. Anytime that I began to stray or had an ounce a fear or worry set it, or if I began to get tired, Angela got me right back on track, within seconds. She is very skilled with what is needed and what moves or positions to take during labor to help things progress as comfortably as possible. She also was very in tune with my emotional needs during labor and she helped protect my labor space, and she was also very supportive of my husband during labor as well. She gave us space when needed, she was right hands on when needed. She would have also transferred with us if we needed to transfer to a hospital, which that gave me so much peace of mind. I have recommended her to all of my friends and family. I do not plan on having a baby without her by my side. My husband as well as I cannot recommend her enough. I am so thankful that we had her by our side. I am looking forward to working with her again with our future pregnancies. I absoultely recommend having her by your side.
