Carolynn was everything I never knew I needed. She was my first doula out of three births and she made an absolute world of difference. There were so many big pieces she helped with, and a myriad of small ones too. She knew how to recognize when baby was facing the wrong way and how to help him turn. She knew exactly where to massage and put pressure to relieve contractions. She brought and hung up fairy lights. She asked what I wanted from this experience and she supported and advocated for me every step of the way. She even knew the baby was coming before any of the nurses did and somehow managed to get a video of the very fast birth. Postpartum, Carolynn was available to come help in anyway we needed. Watching the baby and older siblings, cleaning, anything. Carolynn is fantastic and I feel so incredibly blessed to have had her on my team.
