Working with Alyx was amazing! This was my first baby and I didn't know what to expect at all. Alyx helped answer all of my questions and she helped me feel 100% prepared to have my baby. Spending time on social media made me feel scared and anxious and nervous which is where Alyx was super helpful. Because of what I was reading and seeing on social media I became very afraid of the possibility of needing to be induced as well as get an epidural. The best thing about Alyx is that she is very familiar with the process of having a baby at the hospital and she doesn't make you feel bad about having it at the hospital at all. She told me right away that my doctor would most likely recommend an induction (which my doctor did and so I wasn't caught off guard), and she helped me be 100% okay if that's what I chose to do. She explained the induction are safe and explained the pros and cons. She then explained what would most likely happen if I did end being induced. I ended up choosing the induction and everything that she said would happen happened. I was very grateful because as I went through the whole process I didn't feel scared or worried anymore because she had prepared me with all the information I needed to be confident. She is amazing to work with and I'm so grateful for everything she helped me with!
