I wasn't sure if I wanted to hire a doula for our second birth. Our first child was born via c-section due to failure to progress and we were electing to have a second c-section this time around.
Madeline was so warm from the very first phone call. I instantly knew I wanted to work with her. We came up with a plan for her to support us primarily the day of birth and during the first few weeks postpartum. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our birthing experience. When it came down to it, our elected c-section didn't go as planned and got scary. Madeline was extremely attentive and an advocate for us the entire time. I am so grateful we had her in our corner.
