Testimonial for vine & co. doula services
This was my second birth and Kali has been my doula for both. This experience was even better than my first -- I can't imagine a better experience! With a goal of having a natural labor, I knew I wanted a knowledgeable support person to help me think through different positions and give me the confidence to go without medication. Kali's voice of calm confidence helped me control my breath and not panic through the contractions. Anytime I started to feel like I was losing control, her voice brought me back to focus on each wave, one at a time. She was so helpful in giving my husband the tools to support me physically and mentally, too. She gave instructions to him for counter pressure and his support through each contraction made them bearable. When I couldn't speak to the midwife or nurses, she calmly communicated my desires for my birth. I felt so supported, safe, and strong during this labor and am so glad I had Kali on my side!
