Kaela was our birth doula for our first pregnancy, and we absolutely will be contacting her for any future births. She was recommended to us during a birthing class, and we are so thankful! We had a home birth and she made all the difference in the world. She was thorough and knowledgeable during our prenatal visits - which included a home visit. She was kind, reassuring, and very communicative. Kaela took the time to get to know us, our birth plan, and preferences so when the time came we really trusted her to help our home water birth dream come true. She offered emotional and physical support, and provided tools to help me with pain and comfort. Kaela worked so well the midwives present. We can not thank her enough for being a part of our beautiful birth story.
Kaela also offered postpartum support, and encapsuled my placenta and made a tincture. Everything was done exactly as she had described, and we are thankful that she offered this service in addition to everything else. We hope to be able to work with her again!
