Where to begin, Cara was the best decision I ever made while pregnant! It was my first pregnancy and baby and I wasn't sure a birth doula would be necessary but wow I am so grateful we had her through it all! She was emotionally supportive towards my anxieties and fears, she was so knowledgeable and educated us on all the things which helped ease my mind along the way and she shows up fully present, prepared and ready for anything! I had such a sense of calm in the hospital as soon as she was present. I felt safe. I miss her so much now that we have a happy thriving 3 month old and the thought has crossed my mind to get pregnant again to have Cara back hahaha in all seriousness I want to keep her forever. If you have any doubt or hesitation to hire Cara as your birth Doula just do it. She is a mother herself and her heart is fully committed to her role as a doula, you can clearly see it's her calling and she's a natural. My pregnancy and birth had so many challenges and hurdles and honestly without her as my rock, guidance and advocate or her belief in me and what I was capable of I believe I'd be struggling worse with PPD and PPA. Thank you so much Cara for treating us like family and for everything you did during such a beautiful and wild delivery.
