I was so blessed to have Melissa Espey-Mueller as my doula for both of my births in 2023 and 2025. Each of my births unfolded in different ways and Melissa gave me the care and support I needed. I had "fear of the unknown" during my first pregnancy and she gave me so much knowledge and confidence. I didn't think I would need a doula again for my 2nd birth since Melissa taught me so much the first time. I thought I could do it on my own... but then I entered into a challenging season during my 2nd pregnancy and Melissa was the first person I called. She supported me during a time of grief as my mother-in-law went on hospice during my 3rd trimester. My mother-in-law passed away 5 days before my birth and Melissa was my rock. Melissa even went above and beyond and supported me during my ECV and continued to stand by me every step of the way as my birth unfolded. I have the upmost respect and admiration for Melissa. She's inclusive, caring, and so present with each family. She makes you feel like you're her only client when she is the busiest doula in the nation! I can't say enough good things about Melissa. She hung the moon.
