Lynzi was our postpartum doula for our first baby girl, and she made an incredible difference during those early months. Originally, she was scheduled to start a few weeks after we came home from the hospital, but when I was struggling with breastfeeding just two days in, I texted her in desperation. She came over immediately and helped my baby latch — I’ll never forget that moment. It brought me so much relief and comfort as a new, overwhelmed mom. We ended up asking her to start that week.
What was supposed to be a short-term arrangement turned into three special months that I will always cherish. Lynzi quickly became a part of our family. She supported us mainly as a night nurse a few nights a week, but her impact extended far beyond that. She answered our questions with compassion and expertise, helped build our confidence as new parents, and supported me through some very emotional nights with a calm and nurturing presence.
Lynzi is incredibly professional, deeply knowledgeable, and always respectful of our preferences. She has a gift with babies — truly a baby whisperer — and our daughter adored her. She also went above and beyond in so many ways: preparing nourishing meals to support my milk supply, cleaning bottles, emptying the dishwasher, and simply being an extra pair of hands when we needed it most.
Hiring Lynzi was hands down the best investment we made in those early months. Knowing we’d get a good night’s sleep a couple of nights a week gave us the energy and peace of mind to show up fully for our baby during the day. We are endlessly grateful for her support and could not recommend her more highly.
