I loved working with Carolynne Slocum. She was very informed about the labor and delivery process as well as how to care for a newborn. She was very understanding of my needs right after birth. She has done an awesome job taking care of my kids for me in my postpartum time. She has also been a great help keeping up with my simple housework. She is always cheerful and a pleasure to sit and chat with. I feel very comfortable letting her take care of my kids as she shows she knows how to assert authority in an age appropriate way for my toddler and also take time to be understanding of her big feelings. I would absolutely recommend her to any friends and family looking for a doula as well as I would love to have her as a doula in the future.
