Simply put, Lynzi was an A+ doula. We can't imagine going through this process without her. This was our first child and we plan on working with her for any future kids we may have.
During the pregnancy, Lynzi came by our home multiple times to get me prepared. She gave me a variety of helpful materials including books, booklets and videos. I studied those materials but she also helpfully reviewed key takeaways each time she visited. Lynzi also provided a super helpful list of items to bring to the hospital.
When delivery day came, Lynzi was a portrait of expertise, steadiness and advocacy. She helped direct everything going on in the delivery room, including what I should consider doing, how my husband could be helpful and suggestions for the nurses.
I had a completely unmedicated delivery and that couldn't have been possible without Lynzi. The nurses were great, but Lynzi was the true difference maker. She helped direct what positions I should be in, she personally held up my legs as I was pushing, she gave me endless massages and counter pressure against my lower back. She reminded my husband to provide me water and Gatorade. She reminded him to eat himself. After birth, she was critical in helping me breastfeed successfully.
I would 100% recommend Lynzi to any expectant mother. It's hard to imagine going through this process without someone like her. Well worth the money and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!
