Leading up to the birth of our first child, my wife and I were unsure of what to expect of the labor and delivery process. I knew that I wanted her to have the most positive birth experience possible, but I had no idea what steps we could take to get there or what I could do to support that goal.
A mutual friend recommended Paige to us and we are so glad she did. Our conversations with Paige leading up to the birth gave us a better understanding of what the different stages of labor look like and what could be done to ease the process along naturally.
By the time she went into labor, we were feeling so much better prepared and confident in our ability to tackle this new challenge. I was able to focus on supporting my wife and Paige was there to guide and support us as labor progressed.
The doctors and nursing staff at HMC were absolutely amazing, and Paige’s presence added to that- she was there as another kind of “birth expert”- less clinical and more personable. Time and again, Paige continued to show up for us in ways beyond what she offered in our initial discussions. We truly feel that Paige improved our birth experience in ways that can not be described and could not be happier with our choice to work with her!
