From the moment I found out I was pregnant with our daughter, I knew I wanted someone by my side who would not only support me physically and emotionally, but also spiritually. LeNay, was truly an answer to our prayer. This being my first pregnancy, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but what I received was far beyond anything I could have imagined.
Throughout the highs and lows of my pregnancy—including a diagnosis of hypertension and eventually pre-eclampsia—LeNay was a calming, steady presence. Her encouragement and prayers helped me stay grounded and hopeful during some of the scariest moments. She reminded me constantly that God was with us, and she helped me focus on His peace rather than fear. Her knowledge and compassion were matched only by her unwavering faith, and that combination gave me the strength to face each day with courage.
One of the things I appreciated most was how intentional LeNay was about involving my husband in every part of the journey. She never took his place—she enhanced it. She equipped him to be my strongest support, made sure he felt empowered and prepared, and constantly reminded both of us that we were a team. I could see how confident and connected he felt because of the way she gently guided us both. She helped us grow not only as new parents, but as partners in this sacred season of our marriage.
Our daughter’s birth was beautiful and filled with the presence of God, even amidst the medical concerns. I truly believe LeNay was sent to us for such a time as this. Her faith, wisdom, and care left a permanent mark on our family. I can't imagine going through this experience without her, and I am forever grateful for the role she played in one of the most important moments of our lives.
