This review is really late but needed for this wonderful doula! My Birth plan got thrown out the window and literally everything I planned did not happen! So, finding the words to express our gratitude for Grace feels almost impossible because "thank you" doesn't even begin to cover it. From the moment we first connected, we knew we had found someone truly special, and she exceeded every single expectation we had for a doula. We both knew it was her and hired her right away!
Grace wasn't just present; she was an anchor, a guide, and a wellspring of unwavering support throughout our entire journey. She listened intently to our hopes and fears, provided calm responses, and helped us feel more confident in our birth plan. We felt so empowered and prepared, largely due to her calm and knowledgeable presence.
When labor began, she was there every step of the way. Her calming presence filled the room, and her gentle suggestions for position changes, comfort measures, and bringing doctors attentions to how I was reacting to treatment were nothing short of miraculous. She advocated for us tirelessly and respectfully, ensuring our wishes were heard and honored by the medical team as best as possible. She somehow knew exactly when to offer a soothing touch, when to provide a gentle word of encouragement, and when to simply just let us know the reality of the situation. She even helped my partner feel more confident and involved, guiding him on how he could best support me.
Honestly, Grace did absolutely everything right. She is professional, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and possesses a truly magical ability to make you feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for. If you are looking for a doula who will go above and beyond, who will empower you, and who will make your birthing experience truly positive and memorable, look no further than Grace.
