Maggie was amazing, she helped my wife feel much more secure in her birthing plans and during her stay at the hospital. Despite the hour and lack of sleep she was always on the ball and checking up on relevant details. I as the spouse, despite diving into the birth training / prep, also greatly enjoyed having her there during the stay in the hospitol as it was validating having questions and concerns that the doula also picked up on right away as well as another less sleep deprived support person validating deviations from the birth plan as they sometimes do. If anything we would have hired her for another day after the birth to just gatekeep the staff so they didnt come in uncoordinatedly checking on baby, momma and lines every 20 minutes for 24 hours. She also makes delicious date snicker treats.
