Choosing Amber to be our doula was one of the best decisions we made for our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period! Amber was, and continues to be, a voice of calm in a sea of all the new information and challenges that come with being a first time parent. Being able to reach out to her when something felt a little strange or unexpected was absolutely invaluable. We knew that a doula would be helpful during the birth itself (and she absolutely was!) but we didn't realize how much we would need her before and after as well. Amber met all of our frantic new parent questions and concerns with patience, compassion, and understanding. She is able to make a scary and vulnerable time feel empowering and doable and for that we cannot thank her enough! We wholeheartedly recommend Amber as a doula, particularly if you are a first time parent or have experienced any sort of medical trauma in the past- she is truly the best person for the job!
