I was a high risk pregnancy and a first time mom when I found Jenn based on a recommendation from my doctor. I am a type I diabetic and was going to be induced at 38 weeks for my and my daughter's safety. Jenn was invaluable to my birth experience! She was always available for questions, came to my house while I was pregnant to answer my questions and manage my expectations for an induction, and then was there to support me during labor and delivery. I ended up having an emergency c-section and Jenn made sure I was well educated on my rights and options as a patient, even though I was in a high pressure/stressful situation. During the birth, Jenn took pictures that we treasure as we didn't even think about bringing our phones with us!
The post-partum doula visit was amazing as well, since we are far away from immediate family. It was nice to have someone come and check on us after the birth and to offer us support services.
Jenn Fantasia is an excellent doula and a worthwhile resource for any new or seasoned expecting mama. I highly recommend her services!
