Jenn was absolutely amazing! As this was my first pregnancy, we knew right away that we wanted the support of a doula — and Jenn exceeded every expectation. She came to our home and spent as much time with us as we needed, making sure we felt comfortable and informed. She was incredibly knowledgeable, endlessly reassuring, and never judgmental. Throughout the entire pregnancy, she was available anytime I had questions or concerns.
I was induced at 37 weeks, and when the doctors checked my progress, I was already 10 cm dilated — Evie was ready to arrive! The first thing I said was, “Can I wait?? I need Jenn to be here!” She had truly been my rock throughout the entire process. Jenn rushed to the hospital in record time, but Evie made her debut in just three pushes! Even though Jenn didn’t make it for the birth itself (she would have had to fly on a magic carpet to make that happen hah), she was there immediately afterward when I felt overwhelmed with this tiny new human. She calmed my anxieties and made me feel so much more confident as a new mom. Even during the long process of induction, and the long hospital stay afterward, Jenn gave the most great advice especially when I was torn between some of the routes the doctors wanted to take versus what I wanted. That assurance was incredibly needed.
I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Jenn and the support she provided. If and when we have another baby, Jenn will be the first person I call. I wouldn’t even consider anyone else. I recommend her wholeheartedly — she’s truly exceptional.
