Her familiarity with the hospital and staff meant she was constantly getting us everything we needed such as popsicles, juice, fresh gowns, you name it, she had it handled. Once I got the epidural, she created such a calming atmosphere, making the entire experience feel like we were simply hanging out with a close friend. When it was time to push, Adele advocated for me to try different positions, which helped me deliver our baby much faster. She somehow managed to cheer me on while also capturing the most precious photos of my husband and me, truly multitasking at a level I didn’t think was humanly possible! After birth, she stayed with us for as long as we needed, ensuring we were comfortable and cared for. She continued checking in on us, visiting often and even sharing more helpful goodies for postpartum recovery. If you’re debating whether to hire a doula, don’t hesitate!
