I'm a first time mom and lucky to have worked with Jessica as our post partum doula. Jessica helped us for 1-2 days per week for the first 6 weeks of our newborn's life. I really appreciated her scheduling flexibility, as it was difficult knowing how much we would need before our little one arrived (which was more typical in other doulas we talked to prior to meeting Jessica). The flexibility just took a mental load off of us, which is so needed in this time of change. I also really loved how gentle and calm her presence in our home was - she provided guidance and counsel, with zero judgement, from teaching us baby wearing, bathing, playtime, and offering advice or opinions on our feeding and nap schedules/experiences... It felt like we had a teacher in the home and gave us a great sense of security. She was also amazing with our little one - gentle, kind - we felt comfortable stepping out of the house for errands or our first meal outside the home when Jessica was caring for our baby. Overall, highly recommend!
