We are so thankful we hired Leah to be our Doula for our first birth! She is a wonderful human being and an excellent Doula. I knew I wanted a doula from the very beginning and it was such a blessing that we were matched with Leah just days before I gave birth. I was terrified about giving birth and most concerned about medical complications and having an emergency c section. Leah was helping us prepare mentally and physically before my induction in ways that I didn’t even expect a doula to get to know me and care for me and my baby. She helped me process some personal stressors that could subconsciously take away from my birth experience. During labor, Leah was readily available via text or call and checking in on us as much as possible. She was already headed to the hospital before we told her it was go time. The pain was difficult to manage at first but Leah had prepared me with all my options and came in clutch with peppermint oil during active labor. I had an excellent birth experience and everything went according to my birth plan with me and baby being very healthy, praise God! Leah’s services was a great investment that we made. We hope to have Leah available again for our next baby’s birth!
