Joy was amazing as my doula! She has so much knowledge to share but doesn't force anything on you that you don't want, she's very helpful and joyful. During my birthing experience she helped me through it all. She even helped my mom stay calm as well as myself. She made sure I was safe, breathing at all times and utilizing the things we discussed during our prenatal visits. She was caring, had a great attitude, and she made sure everything was to my liking before departing from me each time we met. She was very hands on. During our postpartum visits, she helped to care for the baby and encouraged me to focus on my own self care. I got to shower, eat and relax. As a first time mom, I realized being a mother is not easy but it's worth it especially when you have a support system. Joy was an essential part of my support system. She still checks up on me even though she isn't getting paid for it anymore, she still shows she cares a lot, and I love that. I had an amazing time and experience with Joy!
