My husband and I are both very pleased with the support that Jessica shared with us prior to, during, and following birth. After searching for a doula that serviced our area (Northern Iowa) for quite some time, we were grateful to find Jessica. She shared helpful tips and helped answer all my questions as a first time mom. She was also very neutral in her responses - she never made me feel like I needed to choose one option over the other. She always presented multiple options with the pros and cons that she was knowledgable with. She also brought things to my attention that I had not thought about or prepared for in our prenatal sessions. This was true in all of our meetings including when labor had begun. It gave us a lot of piece of mind having Jessica there soley to support us. She helped with giving insight so I could make an informed decision, she helped with pain management through movement, she supported us with position changes, and supported my husband in knowing what to do as well. Overall, we are very pleased with the support from Jessica and would highly recommend her to anyone we know looking for a doula.
