Ari jumped into action, grounding both me and my husband as we navigated intense fear and uncertainty. After further decels, we were faced with a decision: continue trying for vaginal delivery or opt for a C-section. Ari helped us process the information, understand the risks, and reflect on what felt right. Their words—“It sounds like you’re making this decision out of love for your baby”—gave me the clarity I needed to choose a C-section not out of fear, but with confidence.
Ari met us in recovery and later helped me process the experience, remember moments I’d forgotten, and honor the strength of my choices. Their presence was steady, informed, and deeply supportive—helping turn a tough, unexpected pivot into a birth story I feel proud of.
