From the first conversation on the phone with T, I knew she was the perfect doula for me. T has an incredibly calming presence and exudes genuine compassion. I was searching for a birthing and postpartum doula for my second pregnancy because I had a traumatic 1st birthing experience and I did not want to go through the same experience again with my 2nd child. Throughout my pregnancy, T was there for me. I would text her questions, especially when I was diagnosed with GD, and she provided me with so much guidance and knowledge. When I went into labor, T was there for me every step of the way. First, by text messages, answering all questions I had and providing a calming aura. Once my water broke at 1:30am, T did not hesitate to get right into her car and head over to the hospital. Her deep knowledge and understanding of every facet of the birthing experience was invaluable throughout the birthing process. She held my hand, both literally and figuratively, throughout the whole experience and I truly had an an incredible birth because of her. I was successful in having a VBAC because of her guidance. She helped bring my daughter into this world and for that I will be forever grateful.
I have also had the pleasure of continuing my relationship with T for my postpartum experience. She has been on time to every session. She immediately jumps into action to help with anything baby or household related, even helping to fold my other child's laundry. I feel completely comfortable leaving my daughter in her extremely capable hands.
T is my angel. Birth can be a very traumatic and negative experience with poor care. It can also be an incredibly special and positive experience with the right people by your side. There is no one better to have in your corner than T.
