Ellen is amazing as a birth doula! I wanted to be fully present for every moment of the birthing process, and she ensured that I had a smooth unmedicated birth for my first baby like I had always wanted! My husband and I were so glad to have Ellen with us throughout the birth-prep, delivery as the second support person at the hospital, and all the way to postpartum. My baby ended up coming 2 weeks early and had a pretty quick labor; Ellen responded right away and was at the hospital before we even got there! She was also so helpful for the postpartum period, from lactation advice to newborn care, especially since we did not have family around to help us out. We were so grateful that Ellen was part of these special moments, of us going from just a couple to becoming a family.
