Being my third baby, I was a lot more aware of the options moms have during birth and I was shocked that the nurse was so against everything I requested. Thankfully, Elissa was there to advocate for my birth plan. I was able to focus on what mattered which was having my baby. Elissa did such an amazing job at helping me advocate for myself. It is not easy to speak up for yourself while in pain. 100% it is worth it to have a doula!
