My husband and I loved having Leah as our Doula! Not once- but magically twice!
Leah was there for us every step of the way and never let us wonder about anything, she answered so many late night questions/worries and put us at ease.
I had a high risk pregnancy making my delivery more complicated than most and she made sure she knew and understood everything. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to follow my birth plan as much as possible while dealing with my additional medical complications. She was an advocate and made sure my husband and I knew the benefits and risks of each decision while in the hospital. Due to being high risk- I was extremely anxious prior to and all thru the delivery, Leah is the most calming person I know and quickly jumped into action to calm my nerves. She made sure my husband wasn’t too worn out either (that he went and ate and got some sleep while I was in the hospital).
Leah taught my husband how to assist me so that he could participate and make me more comfortable. After our first birth we moved across the country and couldn’t hire her for our second child. But that all changed when I was in the hospital and in need of assistance. We called her and she answered- seriously above and beyond!! She helped to turn around a rocky situation and got us thru another delivery- COMPLETELY VIRTUAL!! It was amazing- SHE is amazing! She has so many techniques and knew us so well from the first birth that she was able to jump into action without warning.
We owe our 2 safe, healthy deliveries to her.
I cannot recommend her enough! You will not be disappointed in your decision to have her by your side on the hardest and most magical day of your life!
