We were looking for a doula that was a match for our very silly family and Keli was a perfect fit. Labor and delivery is no joke but I'm a bit of a jokester so having someone in the room who could both play off of my humor and get serious with me when the tears started to flow was a godsend! At one point she told me I was doing great and I was like "you have to say that, have you ever told someone they sucked at this?!" And she just laughed and told me of course she's never told anyone they sucked but also assured me I was doing great even though I was cracking jokes as a defense mechanism. Grateful for Keli's support during both the highs and lows. The birthing experience is better for having an experienced doula there!
